Privacy Policy
It is our goal to protect your privacy and personal integrity while having enough information to meet your needs at the same time. This privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data by GTW  Touristik GmbH (GTW / we / us), when you travel with us, use our services, visit our websites or mobile applications or otherwise interact with us. It is important to us that we only use your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and in accordance with your expectations, and that we are transparent towards you regarding the use of your data.

The legal basis of data protection can be found in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). GTW acts exclusively in the field of B2B and thus it does not serve to end customers or travellers.

Which data do we collect?
In connection with the different ways in which we interact with you and the various services that we offer, we may collect the following categories of data:
A: Contact information, including name, address, passport number, phone number and e-mail address.
B: Identity data, including gender, birth dates and nationality.
C: Transaction data, including credit / debit card number and payment method.
D: Booking details and activity data, including data related to your booked trips, flight reservations, bus and train arrangements, hotel bookings, itinerary, travel companions, the activities you participated in during the trip booked through us, etc. E: Communication information between you and us, including records of calls to our service centre, email communications, comments and reviews collected through surveys or posted on social media platforms.
F: Digital information collected when you visit our websites, applications or other digital platforms, including IP addresses, browser data, traffic data, booking history, social media behaviour and user behaviour. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we may collect data about which newsletters you open, where you are when you open them, and whether you access the links in the newsletters.
G: Health information, including information on allergies, disabilities and illnesses.

Why do we use your data?
We process your personal information in order to arrange, process and confirm your inquiries, bookings and billing. These data are processed to fulfil the agreement made with you (request or booking a trip). 

Disclosure of data
In order for us to organize your trip, we may need to share your information with our subsidiaries, branches, agents, and cooperation partners.

Access data / server log files
The provider (or its web hosting provider) collects data about every access to the offer (so-called server log files). Access data include:
Name of the retrieved web page, file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider. The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. Yet the bidder reserves the right to retrospectively review the log data if, on the basis of objective evidence, when there is a legitimate suspicion of unlawful use.

Contact
When contacting GTW (for example via contact form or e-mail), the details of the user are stored in order to process the query as well as possible follow-up questions.

 

Newsletter
With the newsletter we inform you about us and our offers. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use the information required or separately provided by you to regularly send you our newsletter. Cancelling of a newsletter subscription is possible at any time and can be done either be a message to the point of contact described above or via a dedicated link in the newsletter 

Data usage for e-mail advertising without newsletter registration and your right to object: If we receive your e-mail address in connection with the sale of a good or service and you have not objected to this, we reserve the right to send you per email regular offers of products similar to those, which you already purchased. You may object to this use of your e-mail address at any time by sending a message to the point of contact described below or through a dedicated link in the e-mail message, without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs.

If you wish to receive the newsletter, we need a valid email address from you as well as the information that allow us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address or that the owner agrees to receive the newsletter. No other data is not collected. These data are used only for sending the newsletter and will not be given to third parties.

By registering for the newsletter, we save your IP address and the date of registration. The sole purpose of this storage is for documentation in case that a third party misuses an e-mail address and subscribes for the newsletter without the knowledge of the rightful owner.

Integration of third-party services and content
It may happen that content from third parties, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are included in the online offer. This always assumes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third party providers") perceive the IP address of the users. Because without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of each user. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of this content. We strive to use only that content whose providers use the IP address exclusively for the delivery of the content itself. However, we do not have any influence on the respective use of the IP address by third-party vendors, e.g. for statistical purposes. As far as we know, we will inform users about it.

Cookies
Cookies are small files that make it possible to store specific device-related information on users' access devices (PCs, smartphones, etc.). They serve for user-friendliness of web pages and thus the users (e.g. storage of login data). On the other hand, they serve to record the statistical data of the website usage to be analysed in order to improve the offer. Users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. However, it is pointed out that, without cookies, the use and especially the user experience are limited.

Registration function

The data entered during registration will be used for the purpose of using the offer. The users may be informed by e-mail about information relevant to the offer or the registration, such as changes in the offer or technical circumstances. During the registration, the collected data can be seen from the input mask. This includes the company, name, postal address, email address and telephone number (if applicable).

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses the so-called "cookies", text files which are stored at users’ computers and which allow an analysis of their usage of the website The information about website usage (by the users) generated by the cookie is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the case of the activation of the IP anonymisation on this website, the users’ IP address of users within EU Member States or in other states of the European Economic Area will be truncated by Google. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the US and truncated there. IP anonymisation is active on this website. On the behalf of the provider of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the website by the users, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to the use of the website and the Internet with respect to the website operator. 

The IP address provided by Google Analytics from your Internet browser will not be merged with other Google data. The users can prevent cookies from being saved by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case the users may not be able to fully utilize all the functions of this website. Use of Facebook Social Plugins
This offer uses social plugins ("plugins") of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The plugins are recognizable by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on a blue tile or a "thumbs up" sign) or are marked with the addition "Facebook Social Plugin". When a user calls a web page included in this offer that contains such a plugin, its browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers.
