Day 1: Arrival at Frankfurt Airport
Then transfer to your hotel in the Frankfurt area. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 2: Frankfurt – Munich
After your breakfast undertake a sightseeing tour of Frankfurt. Then continue southwards. In the afternoon
stop at the famous and picturesque Rothenburg before continuing to the Munich area. Dinner and accommodation at your hotel.

Day 3: Munich – Venice
In the morning undertake a sightseeing tour of the Bavarian capital Munich before your continue towards
the Brenner pass into Italy. A local guide will show you most interesting places such as St Mary´s Square, the council house, the market and the Church of Our Lady “Frauenkirche”. Then continue towards Italy. Dinner and accommodation at your hotel.

Day 4: Venice – Florence
After today´s breakfast you will be transferred to Venice for sightseeing during which you will see the basilica of St Marco, the Dogen´s palace and possibly glass blowers at work. In the afternoon continue southward through the beautiful hilly countryside towards Tuscany and Florence. Dinner and accommodation at your hotel in the Florence area.

Day 5: Florence
Today you will visit the city of the Medici family. During a culture walk, your local guide will show youn the most important palaces and the Cathedral, the academy, the Old Bridge “Ponte Vecchio”, the church Santa Maria Novella and Michelangelo Square. The afternoon is at your own discretion before you return to your hotel. Dinner and accommodation at your hotel.

Day 6: Florence – Switzerland / Lake Lucerne
This morning your journey will take you to Lugano which is famous for its subtropical climate. Take a break and enjoy a stroll along the lakeshore promenade. Thereafter continue through the St Gotthard tunnel to Lucerne. Dinner and accommodation at your hotel near the lakeshore.

Day 7: Switzerland / Lake Lucerne – Paris
After today´s breakfast continue through green pasture with picturesque and rustic wooden chalets with exuberant flowers before you reach France. You will pass along some of France´s most famous winegrowing regions before arriving at Paris, capital of France and so-called “city of love”. Dinner and accommodation at your hotel.

Day 8: Paris
Today your local guide will show you the most important parts of this lively city, such as: the Eiffel Tower, the opera, the famous boulevard “Champs Élysées”, Sacré Coeur church, Notre-Dame cathedral, the quarter Montmartre and the “Arc de Triomphe”. The afternoon will be free at your own discretion or you may undertake a facultative visit to the “Sun King” Louis XIV.´s Versailles Palace. Dinner in a local restaurant and accommodation at your hotel.

Day 9: Departure after Breakfast
Airport transfer after your breakfast.

Possible alternatives/extensions:
Alternatively, extension of your journey via Luxemburg – Brussels – Amsterdam – London – Dublin before your return flight from either of these airports. Or extension at the beginning of this journey by flight into Copenhagen and then Berlin – Dresden – Prague – Budapest – Vienna – Salzburg – Munich. Please ask our experts!
